Ball Machine Usage
The SCG Tennis Club owns three ball machines that are for MEMBER USE ONLY! One is housed on Court #5, one is on court #6 and the other in the Sport Building storage area between Stadium Court and court #1.
Court #5 and #6: (they share the same ball picker upper)
- Reserve that court for the time you wish.
- When you get to the court, set the machine out at the top of the court, in the middle.
- Plug the machine into the electrical receptacle just around the corner on court #6.
- Turn the machine on and adjust speed, rotation etc.
- Find the remote in the small attached bag. Please report if the battery is depleted. It is a little touchy!
- When you are done:
REPLACE THE COVER OVER THE MACHINE AND RETURN IT UNDER THE CANOPY.
The cover is water-resistant not waterproof.
Place the mower beside it.
Stadium Court:
- Reserve stadium court for the time you wish.
- Go to the Adobe desk to get the key to the storage room at the sport building.
- Use the key to access the storage room, which is across from the bathrooms.
- Push the ball machine and mower to stadium court and plug in the machine.
- Turn the machine on and adjust speed, rotation etc.
- When you are done, take both back to the storage room and store them neatly.
Turn off the light and relock the door.
RETURN THE KEY TO THE ADOBE DESK.
